Celebrating its 15th edition, the Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition, for both classical and contemporary dance, will come to a grand finale with a Gala Performance beginning at 7 PM, followed by announcement of recipients of medals, scholarships, and company contracts. 150+ talented dancers from countries around the world, from Poland to Paraguay, travel to New York to dance before a distinguished VKIBC international panel of judges, composed of dance company artistic directors and teachers, led by prima ballerina Nina Ananiashvili. Special guest for the Gala is Zoey Anderson, performing choreographer Robert Battle's electrifying solo "Takademe."
